I'm that kid with the stream of conscience. The kid that says some of the most uncensored things that you may or may not be ready to hear. Chances are you're not ready. I don't aim to offend, but sometimes I might open my mouth and something offensive comes out. I'm that kid who was a huge nerd in middle school until he dated that "cool" girl who helped him pass into the "cool" group. I played "spin the bottle" and made out with girls, but nothing was ever more meaningless. I'm that kid who tried to make a statement and go against expectations, but still ended up abiding by the norms. That kid who uses clothing as a means of expression. That kid with the ego who sometimes needs a reality check. Hated by some for good reason, others for no reason and loved by those who truly get to know me. I'm half small town boy and half Atlanta raised southern metro. I'm Italian, Black, and Native American, but sometimes confused for another ethnicity. I yearn for culture, but can only speak a little Italian, a little more Spanish and a whole lot of American. I'm that kid you'll see protesting George Bush, but will never even dare disrespect Bush to his face. A struggling Democrat in a family of Republicans set up by my grandfather whose ring I got after he died. A dreamer with aspirations. A flirtacious, fun-loving boy. A friend. A son.
